Abstract

Two subjects, in two distinct places and times of the city of Guadalajara, México, upon seeing two different trucks, arrive at the same conclusion. Both think: it could serve to kidnap people. As a result of that common observation, this coincidence that in reality is not one, but rather a socio-anthropological trend, in this article of an exploratory nature we try to answer the question about why both a friend and we (the subjects in question) arrive at that idea. From the phenomenological and endo-ethnographic analysis of an interview where we reflect on this fact, we essay the hypothesis that our consciousness is narcomorphized, but not to commit crimes, but to avoid them, a defensive sub-cultural heritage that emanates from the everyday life of inhabiting a working-class neighborhood in a context of violence and drug trafficking.
